Horror Editing — Suspense Sequence
Learning Objective
Edit a 2-minute suspense sequence using pacing and sound to create maximum dread.
This Week
This week, you will apply everything you have learned about horror and suspense editing to create a complete 2-minute suspense sequence. The challenge: create maximum dread without a single jump scare. Use pacing, sound design, and the strategic withholding of visual information to build tension.
Daily Practice
Work on your suspense sequence, focusing on the pacing and the sound design. Experiment with silence — sometimes the most terrifying sound is no sound at all. (45–60 min)
