This Week
DaVinci Resolve is the industry standard for color grading. This week, you will learn to use its primary tools: the color wheels (lift, gamma, gain), the curves (custom, hue vs. saturation, hue vs. hue), and the qualifiers (for isolating specific colors or areas of the image). These tools give you complete control over every aspect of the image.
Daily Practice
Practice using each of DaVinci Resolve's color grading tools on a short sequence. Focus on understanding what each tool does and how it affects the image. (45–60 min)
Weekly Challenge
Grade a 3-minute sequence in DaVinci Resolve, creating a consistent and intentional look. Every shot should match, and the grade should serve the emotional tone of the material.
