Begin your Phase 2 milestone: a complete 5-minute narrative short film.
This Week
Over the next three weeks, you will edit your Phase 2 milestone project. This week, you build the assemble cut — get all the footage in order, roughly cut. The assemble cut is not about quality; it is about getting everything in place. You are building the skeleton of the film. Do not worry about pacing or polish at this stage.
Daily Practice
Work through the footage systematically, assembling all scenes in order. Mark your favorite takes and moments as you go. (45–60 min)
Weekly Challenge
Complete the assemble cut of your 5-minute narrative short. Every scene should be present, in order, with the best takes selected.
